About us

This page explains how your account here works. What the company is, its owner writes.

What you see once you sign in

Your account shows three figures rather than one, because they are three different facts:

  • Outstanding — everything invoiced to you and not yet settled.
  • Overdue — the part of it that is past its date.
  • Unapplied — money that reached us and has not yet been put against a particular invoice. It is yours, and it is shown here so it cannot be lost inside a single number.

Invoices

Each invoice has its own page with its lines: what you ordered, how many, at what price. The price is stamped on the invoice the day it is issued, so a change today never touches what was agreed before.

An issued invoice is never edited. If it is wrong it is cancelled or reversed and both halves stay on the record — so a statement you printed can never disagree with the ledger it came from.

Prices

The price list is read from the same rows the invoices are written from, so what you read is what you will be charged. An item with no price says "ask us" rather than saying zero.
